Cliff Inn Bed & Breakfast is a a lovely English Cottage with exterior decks overlooking Lake Michigan, a beautiful formal
garden, and fabulous views of Lake Michigan sunsets. The Inn is decorated with antiques, imported fabrics and
custom-designed furnishings. Some guest rooms have
fireplaces and/or whirlpool tubs, and several have balconies
overlooking Lake Michigan.
For your comfort and convenience, each of the seven guest rooms has a private bath, cable television, free Wi-Fi and a direct dial
telephone. The owner is a retired chef, so the homemade breakfasts are not to be missed. The normal fare includes an entree egg casserole, several types of coffee cakes, fresh fruits and custom-blended coffee.
South Cliff Inn Bed & Breakfast has received the "Reader's Choice Award" for Favorite
Bed & Breakfast in Southwestern Michigan eight times. It has also been cited by Chicago Magazine as "one of 40 ways to pamper yourself,"and is listed under "Good nights lodging's
you'll like along the way" in Midwest Living Magazine.
The Inn is located 1 mile south of quaint
downtown St. Joseph, with its wonderful shops, restaurants
and entertainment. The local beaches are among the most beautiful in the country, much less in the Midwest. The South Cliff Inn is a three minute drive from two fabulous (free!) beaches...or you can easily walk there.
Wineries, nature
centers, museums, restaurants and antique shopping are short drives from South Cliff Inn. For you golfers, St. Joseph is one of the top twenty golfing areas in the USA. The South Cliff Inn is a five-minute drive from one lovely (former country club) course, and the new Harbor Shores course is about the same distance.
