We are more than a zoo. This 30 acre magical
theme park has kiddie rides, a gift shop, The Storybook Lane, a
playground and a picnic area. Come pet and feed tame deer, zebra,
camels and other zoo animals. There is an admission charge. Groups
are welcome.
Spread over 30 acres of scenic woodland, Deer
Forest offers a rare opportunity to walk among the largest herd
of tame deer in North America. Experience feeding and photographing
these beautiful animals without bars or fences.
Touch your surroundings with all five senses.
Hug and feed tame fallow deer, Mamma Lama, and lots of other animals
friends. See and hear your favorite nursery rhymes as you stroll
down Story Book Lane.
From I-94 take the 39 exit, turn right onto Friday
Road, keep going through town all the way to Interlochen (turn left)
then turn left onto Indian Road which turns into Marquette and we
are there. Closed October - Memorial Day.
